Thanks! Keep it up and look for some tutorials or guides here on DA, Youtube or somewhere else on the WWW, they can be very helpful! But the key is motivation, you made a good start, now stay with it and it will end up being amazing
This picture alone makes me think back to a short story I wrote once in middle school for my English teacher. It's unbelievable at how well this image captures my past words in one fell swoop. My mind registers this picture and simply goes, "I was there once," and my imagination just takes off from there at the memories. Keep up the amazing work Doom. It's always a good day when I get to see your works and they take me to a new place in my mind, or a forgotten one in this case.
Oh yes! Strides ahead of your other landscapes in my honest opinion! That single towering blade of grass and the light from the moon on the clouds is what MAKES this! I feel like I'm there, on a balmy summer night or something. I'm a fan of those clouds, you use just a sponge like brush for those or make news entirely? God, I love those clouds. Now was the grass as a whole made with a brush, that staple Photoshop grass brush, if so, you used it the way it was meant to be used. Excelent foreshortening! I feel like there's more than meets with eye with that horizon, great depth and feel! Stunning work... absolutely stunning. Oh and it's pretty... lol
Thank you! After reading your comment I'm really happy to have made a foreground, as originally I only wanted to make the sky for practice The clouds use some custom made brushes by myself which I did some days ago. For the grass I used the standard PS brush And thanks again for such a nice comment!
