Well I used to be a huge fan of Unreal Tournament (the original one, released in 1999) - definitely one of the games I spent the most time playing, ever. :typerhappy: Hyperblast was the last map where you fought against the boss. And this picture of yours somehow instantly reminded of it :)

I actually haven't played the original one actually. But the 2004 and 3rd one ... great times :)

Give it a try sometime ;) It may be old so the graphics is quite simple compared to todays' fps games (and its successors in the UT series) but unlike many games from the beginning of 3D era that look just ridiculous today, UT 99 is still quite neat :) And it's considered by many to be the best UT ever. I can't really compare it as I haven't played the newer ones, but my impression from the gameplay videos of UT 03/04/07 that I've seen is that there really is something missing from the original UT spirit in the latter games. I guess it has a lot to do with the taunts - in the original UT many of them were voiced with such a jovial intonation you felt like even the bots were actually enjoying kicking your ass. It's funny how that little aspect really added much character to them and the game itself - and it's always been one of the main reasons I prefered UT99 over Q3 Arena. I mean, Quake was pretty decent, but the bots really were 100% machines - rather cold and boring. Sadly, the bots in the latter UTs seem to me just like that. But than again, I don't have time for gaming anymore... :D

Unfortunately I am the same like you: I'd like to play these games, but I simply don't have any time to do so :/

No problem. Good for you. There are better things than playing games (unless you consider your life a game) ;)
