Reinforcements

The Orks attack one of the remaining bastions of imperial forces. When all hope seems lost, hope comes in form of a squad of crimson fists arriving at the point of defeat, to turn it into a victory. The remaining forces defended the line with the help of the Space Marines, managing to push back the enemy´s attack.
A heavy price was paid, but this victory lies not in the numbers, but in the morale of the people, for they can once more hope for survival.
But another threat is already on its way. Heavy thunder echoes across the wide desert and a new colossal enemy arrives. Without heavy artillery or Titans, the Imperial Guard doesn´t stand a chance in fighting them. The Adeptus astartes however decide to take the initiative, to make an assault, which one could describe either as heroic or just stupid. But it is just a matter of time whether they will win, for the Salamanders are on their way to join up with their brothers, or this world is lost...

Finally a continuation! And good news: the next one is already underway
